The Minister assured that "Britain's support for Ukraine remains unwavering and we continue to work towards a just and lasting peace ."
Meeting at U.S. Request. "Significant Progress"Axios, citing a US official, reported that Vance's hours-long meetings on Saturday resulted in "significant progress" in achieving Trump's goal of ending the war in Ukraine.
The talks between the allies of the Ukrainian side took place in Chevening , Kent, the official country residence of the British foreign minister.
Local media reported that the meeting was organized at the request of the United States.
